Oban Equestrian Estate

OBAN estate is a contemporary residence and equestrian facility named after the Scottish seaside town from where the owner’s family originates. Pelican Systems were recently a part of this new build and it’s ceilings and bulkheads.

Pelican Systems supplied the materials for the ceilings and bulkheads in this unique equestrian estate new build of around 1000m2 in Summerveld, Shongweni, KwaZulu Natal.

This project was driven by a brief to see contemporary architecture, equestrianism, and nature, blend into a reality that was inspiring, functional and unique within the context of its spectacular setting.

The ceilings in this home are expansive with clean lines, dramatic bulkheads and lighting features which add to the design and overall effect.

PS3 as a shadowline trim has been used extensively to create the floating ceiling effects.

Overall a resounding success and a dramatic and awe-inspiring project.
